Since we choose partners that already know how to run their business day-to-day, often we act solely as the primary capital source, taking a hands-off approach once we have completed the transaction. Businesses succeed because of management expertise and efforts, and we strive to enhance performance with flexible, yet patient, capital solutions.
At the same time, we are fully capable of providing administrative support and advisory services when necessary. Some partners prefer that we be active in backend support such as accounting services. Just like our investment terms, each relationship with a client is tailored for the individual business or real estate venture.
Our typical transaction process begins with an initial meeting, a review of the business plan and standard due diligence. Upon reaching a consensus with a new partner, the transaction can be tailored in a variety of formats to fit the needs of the individual business. Our investment deals have ranged from $500,000 to over $30 million, but we focus on transactions in the $1 million to $5 million range.
